<p>About 1 in 20 undergrads are international students, a large portion of which come from Central and South America. I knew several back when I was an undergrad (80's), all in the college of engineering. The state of Florida also has a program that entitles Caribbean, Central and South American students to in-state tuition rates (at any Florida public university), if they are awarded a scholarship. </p>
