Any opinions are greatly appreciated!

Hi Gatordance-
I’ll try to give you an honest opinion based on the information you provided.
Your stats seem to fall near or slightly below the 50 % average range of those
students previously accepted and in all reality, there is no way of
telling. Unfortunately, yourself like most here ( excluding top performers) will have
to wait for February 10th for a definite decision. Good Luck !

I would say you are right on the borderline, and that it could go either way, but that the first generation hook may help you.

I think that you’re in for sure.

Thanks for the feedback daviddj, floridadad55, and jeromefulton!

Does anyone know how much of an impact the first generation hook will even make?

Are you first generation and low income (efc=0)? If so, that gives you a leg up.

Not low income. I have heard from many people that UF does not like students with florida prepaid. Has anyone heard that also?

I have heard from many people that UF does not like students with Florida prepaid. does anyone know if this is true?

Please more opinions!
:)

New opinions

I don’t think it matters b/c what we think may be enough to get in, the admissions people may think differently.
Your stats look pretty good, but don’t count on what we say.
