Ok, so first off do you have to stay in the same housing for Summer B as for Fall/Spring? Also, will the learning communities (global, fine arts) be doing anything in the summer? I applied to housing really late, so will I be able to request the room mate I want, if they say yes and choose me too (I haven't talked to them yet though). I also want to know if Fletcher, Reid, and Yullee halls are nice to live in? If anyone can answer any of these questions I'd really appreciate it. I think I may end up in a late application triple anyway, but I don't mind.

I’m a transfer who will begin living at UF in Fall 2010 so I have some of the same questions that you have, but from what I understand most people enjoy living in Fletcher and Yulee. there are also not a lot of rooms in fletcher, and it’s apparently one of the most requested domrs so you’re not likely to get it as a late application triple.

Sorry I don’t have a ton of info but I figured I’d share what I do know.

thanks, yeah I put my preferences as double room, then triple room (to save money). If they give me a late application triple I think it could be in any dorm, but its ok with me as long as I get housing. Sorry for confusing you.

I was also wondering if I’m going for Summer B and Fall Spring do I have to make 2 payments of $200 ($400) for the advance rent payment(s), or 1 payment of $200 for both terms?
