UF Transfer- how important is the letter of intent?

So, I'm filling out my transfer application for UF and found that I have to answer two short, 200-word questions. They are along the lines of:

What skills do I hope to attain from my major and how will I apply them when I graduate?
I'm not sure how to answer this question. I want to major in accounting so I can become an accountant and attain a job with good security and above average pay. I don't what else to say. Should I bull **** and claim that I have a passion for learning about debits and credits?

What other information about myself can be provided that pertains to my degree program (work, research, etc.).
I have nearly no experience in anything accounting related at all. I'm not heavy in activities but I may write about my time as a member of the Ethics society. I also had a summer job last year counting money for a theme park, which is somewhat accounting related.

Anyways, are these important enough that I should spend several hours agonizing over my responses? Or are they really not that big of a deal?
