Called again today. Was told to email her again but, at least they took my info this time.

what are your stats? AA?

Well I have an A.S. Network Information Management and an A.A. in Electrical Engineering. Im not really sure what my transfer GPA is but its around a 3.3. I do know that my Pre-Pro GPA is 3.78.

are they ever going to let some of us know . i hope CALS won’t wait until June 1 or even later. this is ridiculous

I’m eager to know how competitive the Fisher School of Accounting is? and also your opinions on the chances I have given the information below?

I’m a dual-enrollment student and I’ll have my AA and diploma in the spring of 2010. Assuming my grades stay the way they are, my college GPA should be 3.85 and my pre-professional GPA a 4.0. Is there anything else I can do to further my chances of being accepted?

Also, if my GPA does take a dip, what is the lowest, but still ideal GPA to get accepted? Sorry if this question is unanswerable.

I really appreciate it,
-Max

based on previous posts I think fisher grants automatic admission for AAs with your gpa.

I was accepted into CLAS with a 3.85 and a 4.0 pre-prof.

However, I wouldn’t advise a sudden dip in gpa

@Maxed_Out …im currently waiting on Fisher… just ensure you finish all the the pre-requisites…and keep up the gpa…the school of accounting is very competitive…im nervous that i might not get in and i have a 3.95 overall and 4.0 pre-prof…good luck

^^The Warrington School of Business has guaranteed automatic admission, not Fisher, even though Fisher is a part of Warrington…its a completely different set of requirements

ah thats a misconception on this board, i didnt know that as well

go gators!! Woohoo!!

Ps. UF in general is competitive

ACCEPTED!!! FINALLY!!!

Political Science
A.A. Transfer
3.89 GPA, 4.0 Pre-Prof.

It was good to release some frustration in this board!

Well I still havent seen or heard jack from UF.

FINALLY!!!

ACCEPTED!!!

Got the letter today. Was just a regular envelope just like the last guy said he received.

GO GATORS!!!

lol it seems as though no one has been rejected yet…well no one with an AA degree and all their pre-reqs…i applied for Spring 2010 so i’m still waiting…i think i have a 5% chance of getting in…i only have a 3.5…applied to Fisher

could be that no rejections are notified till after 100% of acceptances.

Well a friend of mine also received a letter today but he was rejected. Though the letter did say it was because all the seat had been filled. I applied in early October. He applied late November, early December. He had better grades than me. So that just goes to show you how impartitive it is that you apply early.

I saw someone post that they were rejected about a month ago

I was accepted today to industrial engineering. I was asked to send my spring grades in though I was initially rejected about 3 weeks after I applied last September or August. This is for the fall of 09 by the way.

for those of you that just got accepted, Congratulations…

for those of you that didn’t, don’t give up…It took my three tries before I finally got in…of course, the first two I didn’t have my pre-reqs completed…

Kompteck, How did you feel when you first saw the small envelope…I almost ripped mine up without even reading it…I’m glad I didn’t…lol

well i knew right away since you had mentioned it. otherwise i probably would have thought it was a rejection letter or something. it was also the only piece of mail that Ive received from them.
