<

is it a specific college that sends these intent forms? because I never received....

teb0w: you answered CLAS=College of Liberal arts and sciences. I said CALS=college of agriculture and life sciences.

I am applying to the College of Education.

And rsala- it is a specific college that sends intent forms. mine was a personal goals statement and the admissions coordinator has been emailing me back and forth.

received letter of intent through email today, scary

what college are you applying to, rsala?

CLAS, I just finished the letter now..im happy with it, gonna find a fedex print and mail place to mail it express....they say if they do not receive by april 2, last day for credentials you are not counted in the admissions process, denied....

I have 1 c+ on my transcript, but couldn't explain it on intent letter =(

I still wonder why I received this letter of intent 7 days before deadline

this whole time I thought they mail it to you...If i would have known I could get the form off the internet!!

does CALS have a letter of intent?

i have a friend going into CALS and he said he didn't need one, But i am applying to CLAS and i had to fill one out.

my friend has applied to CALS. and much like the rest of us hasn't heard whether or not he has been accepted.

Yea, I am applying to CALS and I haven't gotten letters of intent. I really hope we hear back from them in early april.

I have applied to CLAS as a philosophy major. I have a gpa in the c average range, although it exceeds the required. I am also disabled and therefore applied to have my app reviewed by disability services, (I’m not really even sure what that does). Not sure if this is really considered, but I’m multi-lingual and have got a huge amount of hours doing volunteer, full-time work, tutoring, and extra-curr. type participation even resulting in several awards. Anyone have a guess on my chances? ( im sure everyone is at that point where you just want to hear something already)

Transering from Santa Fe Comm
Into college of Agriculture at UF
Applied for Summer B term
overall GPA: 3.46
A.A degree
What are my chances…?

Adam, what major?

I took a large load of classes this semesters to meet all req. for UF transfer, and possibly I wont make EXCELLENT grades this semester…

since they wont see these grades till after their decision, do they overturn decisions?
of course i wont fail any classes and will still meet all min. req.
The transcript they have has a 3.76 gpa, The one I will send if I am admited (+spring grades) may be 3.6…or possibly less

since there is no ‘waiting list/defer’ I would assume that all decisions are final if minimum reqs are met, but this is a guess? anything to worry about?

i have transferitis

decision is contingent on your final transcript. so it definitely can’t help the cause.

Im applying to the ag school, food and resource economics. anyone know what the required gpa is or around where i should be at.

Any other news from transfers regarding admissions decisions? I have heard people say that decisions will be released on Mar. 31 or April 1 for some people… So as soon as you get news, post it! :)

from what i have heard it CANT possibly be before april 2 for CLAS…from what i am aware of all decisions are released at the same time. and the deadline for letter of intent is on thurs, the 2nd
