did you have trouble reducing it to less than two pages? Because I sure did!

not really mine was barely 1 page for question 1

and 1 paragraph for question 2

i think I answered the questions pretty well.

just a curious question, If you decide to pick up a double major and need an extra semester your senior year (summer) to finish both majors will they kick you out, or let you stay?..they state that you must finish up at uf within 4 fall/spring, are they real strict?

just found out i got in at fsu…now just waiting on UF!!!

really? congrats …my FSU page this says "Your application for admission is presently awaiting review by Admissions staff. "

wow I see you posted you have 3.93 gpa CC AA…
Im not so worried about fsu at this point…but I hope UF does not screw me because I dont have AA or a 3.93 =(
3.7 uni…too many horror stories of 3.9’s from uni getting denied

but yea…if you dont get into UF I would be pretty shocked, btw i attend fiu…I should have gone the cc route that way I could get my foot in the door, but i wasn’t thinking/ didn’t know!

It’s April 1st and I’m still waiting, too. Applied to the college of Journalism and Broadcasting … UF needs to get it together LOL… I’m going crazy I just want to know already. Deadline for ALL apps. was March 1st. I applied Dec 29 08. Been waiting a long time!

the Deadline for the summer terms for transfer was like Feb 1st for me I believe, the letter of intent and all transcripts etc were due by march 1st, which was when they started making a decision for me, when I received my transfer acceptance it was dated March 15th, I found out by checking online march 13th that I was in for summer A. So wait about two more weeks. Keep in mind that I was an undergrad transfer vs a CC AA one.

Has anyone talked to anyone from uf recently about when the decision date will be because I have tried and been unsuccessful so far. Particularly CALS because that’s the one I’m applying to and all.

gatorgirllash - I’m with you! I’m waiting on the journalism school as well. I actually applied the first week of September! They said that decisions would be available “after April 1” but I don’t know what that means. Best case scenario, they could upload them this evening. Worst case scenario, we could be waiting into May (which is what happened to some people last year). If you find out anything at all, let us know :)

lol, patiently waiting uh? takes forever to receive a decision.

Just spoke with the journalism & communications school.

Apparently, that “April 1” date just gave us false hope (big surprise).

The lady I spoke with in student services said that decisions would be out at the end of April or into the month of May.

Another month of waiting…

that is horrible, I thought waiting all through march was bad

theres a change on my ufl-ISIS…it now acknowledges my major, mathematics…in the degree audit where it tells you what i need left to graduate!..i am fairly sure this was not viewable before, at least for me.
anyone else get this?

rsala - On my ISIS, when I click “degree audit” it just says that my record cannot be found… so it’s definitely not something everyone has! A glimmer of hope, perhaps?

perhaps…

rsala,
My friend knew he got accepted as soon as his degree audit info changed. Also, check your UFID and click under my roles and see if there are any changes in there.

I’m waiting for a decision from CLAS. I applied for fall.

what do you have, and yea I applied to CLAS as well (sum b).

I have the same thing. It’s kind of weird that you haven’t heard from them yet. I’m expecting a decision within two weeks.

i e-mailed the fisher school of accounting. and this is what they said about the transfer status.

Until further notice, the University of Florida has placed a moratorium on the processing of undergraduate (junior transfer) applicants. As a result, we cannot make a decision on your admission status. We expect an update from the University within the next couple of weeks. We regret the inconvenience this delay may cause you, and we thank you for your understanding.

looks up moratorium

ridiculous, i hope that isn’t true for all colleges =(
