<p>I didn’t apply to UF, but to FSU for spring 10’
They sent me a notification saying my app is on hold cause they need my CLAST scores.</p>
<p>my app deadline is October 1st for the Fisher School of Accounting…i think we find out after that…but not sure…i already found out about USF and was accepted</p>
<p>i hope i find out before October so if i don’t get in i can start looking for an apartment in Tampa…it’s not easy to find an apartment in Tampa as it is in Gainesville</p>
<p>I applied to USF and UCF in addition to FSU, but I’m not interested in them. I haven’t looked @ my status.

<p>right now i have a 3.55…by the time i’m done with Fall 09 i’m hoping to have a 3.6^…i doubt i’ll get in with that GPA…a couple of years ago you could get into UF from Santa Fe with a 3.0…makes me mad</p>
<p>You never know. I didn’t think I’d get into FL state. They have a pretty low acceptance rate for transfers.
I didn’t apply to UF b/c at UF, it’s almost impossible to get in if you’re not a CC student. FSU doesn’t have a preference, but they auto accept TCC kids.
Another thing you have to look at is the selectivity of your major.</p>

<p>Anyway, don’t be overly discouraged by that statistic, Sophie. I met a solid handful of transfers yesterday at Preview not from CC, so it certainly is possible. I definitely recommend at least applying.</p>
<p>yep, get that app in…i was surprised to see how easy it was for a couple of my friends(average gpas) to get into programs such as engineering…but if you dont apply…</p>

I am certain that gpa has a very high chance of getting in now that Ive seen the results.</p>
<p>I got in with a 3.76 from university to CLAS, the most populated college.</p>
<p>3.6 from santa fe is good standing</p>
<p>I would assume, but have no experience with, that Spring transfers are likely to have it a bit easier due to timing.</p>
