UF Transfer Thread-Spring 2010

Well, I’m another one of those people waiting to hear back as well. All of us will hear back from Admissions by November 15th. So about a month more to wait tops. Hopefully not…but…

I wonder if having applied to UF before will help? I’m doubtful. Anyways…good luck to those of you still waiting to hear! :)

got in last night, pumped to be a part of the gator nation

ufgators50, what is your major? im trying to figure out which colleges are notifying students. i applied to warrington business college, but still nothing.

Blah. Nothing still. Going crazy. :(

history in clas

Hey guys… Im applying to transfer for the summer semester since spring deadlines are passed. Im a psyc major and I got my AA at Miami Dade College with a 3.32 GPA. I just started FIU this semester and since i wasnt familiar with the enrollment i was only able to get 3 classes one of which i just dropped. Does anyone have any idea if i have a chance at getting in? i know the minimum GPA requirement is a 2.8 for psyc majors transferring.

hey guys. I have been keeping up with this thread but this is my first post. I am also waiting to hear from UF. I just wanted to state that I applied to the College of Ag. and Life Sciences (animal bio major) and am still waiting. Did anyone else apply to CALS and been accepted yet? I just keep waiting and waiting…oh yea…and waiting

TalkUF2me - I applied to CALS as well. Nutritional Sciences. No word. Well, 30 more days until the ultimate deadline to hear back. :/

Thanks O&M. Good to hear that I am not the only one that applied for CALS…:)How do you know about the deadline? was it posted somewhere or did some one tell you? I hope we find out soon. FYI im pretty sure spring classes start jan. 5. it would be nice to kow something BEFORE december

Of course. I called them, CALS, and asked if there was an ultimate deadline and they said November 15, we should all know one way or the other. And yes, classes begin on the 5th if I recall properly. I doubt we’ll find out anything else for the rest of the weekend. Here’s to hoping Monday is the day! :)

CHHEEEEEEEEEERRRS to monday!!!

Has anyone received the acceptance packet in the mail yet?

Have any of you applied for housing? I submitted my housing app around the end of last month, and I still can’t put in my dorm preferences, etc because it says it’s not available until you’re admitted to UF. Does anyone else have this still even though they’re been admitted?

I have yet to receive the packet it the mail, as well.

I didn’t apply for housing though, as I will be living in a flat off-campus. Good luck figuring out how that system works!

If i see:
