UF transfers Fall 2012 Decision?!

To those who got accepted… did both of you call in?

I read online that the deadline to apply for the Fall term is March 1st. Does that mean that the Application AND all transcripts/test scores etc. had to be submitted by then or just the application. Usually the deadline refers to just the application…but just thought I would double check. Thanks!

^ No, your transcripts can follow, only the application had to be submitted by then, I’ve asked their admissions counselors. Hurry up though, so that they can start considering you! Good luck everyone, my boyfriend got accepted today and I just submitted so I’m sure there’s a while to wait.

Hmmm… When did your bf send in his app, what college was he going for, and what term?
I’m so anxious for an answer, I’m hoping all the responses will be out soon!!!

Nevermind. I wound up getting my acceptance just a few hours after I posted this :)

Is it too late to apply? I’d actually be reapplying for a different major. I did not matriculate the last time because I was told I would not be allowed to double major or change the major I was accepted under.

Not sure if its worth the $30 bucks. I probably won’t have a place to stay on campus again :</p>

No, I did not call in. It took about 5-6 weeks after I was referred to get a decision.

I didn’t call in either. I applied Jan 25th and accepted Feb 23rd. Just keep checking your application status online.

yea now i see that it depends more on the college
How easy will it be to find housing on campus around May?

I received my decision three weeks after they received my transcripts. Accepted for Summer B!
I never even had to call or ask. Good luck guys.

Just got accepted into CALS Microbio :))))))

@jpoll99 congrats! What term did you apply for?

Thank you  I applied for Fall of 2012 which means that CALS has finally started admitting transfers. Good luck everybody!

what were your stats?

@jpoll99 oh my goodness! I applied to CAlS aswell and was anticipating a very long wait. Im so shocked that they have started looking at them already. When did you apply?

I currently go to FSU and I have a 3.93 GPA with a 4.0 in sciences. I called them in fall and they told me to wait until I have my fall grades to submit the app so I applied as soon as I got my grades around Christmas. I was probably one of the first to hear back for fall so the rest should be coming soon.

I applied at the last minute as a transfer with an AA from a FL CC… My application is still under review, I haven’t sent in any transcripts yet because I want to wait till this term is over. I would have to wait till end of April to send them in, is that too late? If anyone has any info on this please let me know. Other schools list two separate deadlines, one for the application and one for transcripts/test scores etc. and I can’t find the deadline for transcripts…

Send your current transcripts now. They need something to review. They need to see how much of your prerequisites you have completed so far as well look at the classes you are taking currently.
Then send your final transcripts after this term is over. I have been accepted and the only condition for my admission is to have my final transcripts sent with my AA degree posted.

Ok, I will send them. I was hoping to send them after the term because I had one bad semester last term (due to a death in the family) and I have all A’s this term.

I have all my prereq’s for my major completed and will have my AA at the end of Summer A.

My GPA last term went from a 3.6 to a 2.97-that’s why I wanted to wait till grades were posted. Who knows, maybe they will give me a chance.

Hey guys, on friday my application status finally was updated and said they had referred it to me college (CLAS). In your experience, how long does it generally take for the college to inform you on their final decision?

I applied the 10th of January 2012
