UF/UCF Decision Help!

I have recently been accepted to both UCF and UF. The problem that I have is deciding which is better for my field and financially. With UCF, they offered my $6,000 total while UF had offered me $0. If I go to UCF then there would be no fee for housing since I would be living at home; however, if I go to UF then there will be a dorm price of aout $2800/semester. My main debate is which school is better academically since I'm not really an adament fan of sports and which would better help me in my future. For UCF, I plan on majoring in molecular & micro biology (premed) and biology (premed) for UF. My future goal is to hopefully get into medical school. So...Which is better? =D Any help would be great!

Thank you for your time.

As you probably know, Florida is the better-ranked school by a significant margin and has the additional advantage of having the state’s best medical school on-campus. Perhaps more importantly, there are studies that show students that live at home significantly underperform their peers that reside at school. For these reasons, UF would likely be the better option if you and your family can afford it, but everyone’s cost sensitivity is different and only you can decide what is the best for you.
