In my opinion, I think both are excellent and well-respected schools and I think they are very comparable in the undergraduate level. Both schools are making great strides in increasing their undergraduate programs as Donna Shalala and Bernard Machen are actively seeking to do so. Graduate wise, the rankings clearly show UF has better programs than UM, however, as someone on the thread said, what you get out of a program is directly related to what you put into it, no matter where you are.</p>
