UF Webmail

Anybody know how to sync it with entourage?

good luck.

webmail does its own thing. you usually cant make it do anything you want it to, but if there is a way to do it, the UFhelpdesk will know. they IT guys are really nice and very helpful.

Idk I have everything sent to my gmail. :/

I believe it only supports IMAP and because it's not running on a blackberry or exchange server...so I don't see how it's really possible. I know other departments have migrated to MS exchange (<a href="http://www.mail.ufl.edu/project-charter.html)%5B/url%5D">http://www.mail.ufl.edu/project-charter.html)</a>, but not students.

[edit]

At some point it may support what you want and it may even be migrated to MS exhange, too. I would contact the help desk.

Just forward your e-mails to webmail. That was my solution

Yeah...I have my e-mail setup to forward to a non UF e-mail account...it would be nice if they enable an option to forward and save a copy on the mail server too (even though it says you can't do it, it apparently lets you do it, I think they fear it will get their domain blacklisted for bulk mail with the ISP it would be forwarded to and that is their reasoning so people don't complain about missed mail)

What you want can be easily done with gmail. Contact me if you want the instruction. I had to find another way to get my mail to gmail since forwarding is not an option for many upperclassmen due to the rules changes that occurred 2 or 3 years ago.

hmmm...do you mean like adding a new account into the Gmail interface and having it check the IMAP server?

What I meant to say was the UF site says it's not allowed to forward the whatever@ufl.edu mail to any other address unless its on the UF domain like whatever@cise.ufl.edu/email...yet I have it setup in the my.ufl.edu thing to forward my UF mail to my AOL account (yes I know AOL is old/hated but it's my primary e-mail and I get unlimited storage space.)
