<p>Firstly, let me state that I respect everyones opinion on this thread, but would like to set some things straight.<br>

  1. Applications are reviewed by faculty, current fellows, and then faculty again before ANY decision is made on whether they move pass the first round onto the short list. After those first three initial looks, the heads of the program then sit down and review them again. So no, one freshman that has been in the program for only 1 semester (axomom), cannot in anyway determine if someone moves on or not.<br>
  2. Dr. Morgan’s statement was taken out of context, and I am sure everyone would agree with me that the young lady referred should not be judged when the individual who brought her name up was not privy to all information. Let he who is blameless cast the first stone-especially if that person made it through their college career blameless.
  3. Maybe focus would be better spent focusing on ourselves rather than those around us.</p>
