UFlorida Business

I am really interested in transferring to UFlorida for undergrad business but not at all really familiar ith their program. Can anyone help and tell me it is with recruitment and such?

Out of UFlorida and UMiami is florida better?

Would it be worth going down to florida for undergrad or just staying in upstate ny at like syracuse or RIT?

please anyone???

I am majoring in bachelor of statistics in university of florida. The only thing I know about the business department is that it is more full of it self than the engineering department. :) The business department has crazy requirenments to be able to sign up for certain business classes. The campus itself is huge and has many majors to choose from. I read somewhere that the MBA program at UFL is in the top 10 to 20 range.

You can view lists of employers that are recruiting this year in the spring as an example: https://ufl-cfm.symplicity.com/events/students.php?cf=showcasespring06

There are a lot of pros and cons to both schools. It is warmer in Miami than Gainesville. The undergrad business at UF is rated 26 (US News) and UMiami was not rated in the top 50. U Miami has a very active alumni assoc and it has been said in previous threads (look in UM threads) that Miami is very good for job recruitment (due to alumni base and port/city location. UF has a better reputation academically. UF is more difficult to get into than Miami (GPA/SAT). UM will have smaller classes and more personal attention due to its size and the fact that it is a private school as opposed UF (huge and public).
