Please suggest the best colleges in the world where you do a geography under-graduate course (B.Sc./B.A.). Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

It’s called “undergraduate” :)

corrected, heh heh :)

Well, anybody?

I doubt there is something as a “best undergraduate program in geography”. What is important for you? What do you want to get out of your education?

Many people who are interested in pursuing geography in graduate school focus on subjects such as international political economy, anthropology, sociology, history and environmental studies/science for their undergraduate education. Since you will be more likely to find these types of subjects/majors across the board at U.S. colleges you might want to consider creating an interdisciplinary major or simply prepare for geography graduate school by majoring in one of the abovementioned subjects.

Well, I’d like a college where the teaching faculty is friendly, and the education focuses on learning not on the examination point of view. A good campus would be great too. Which are the most preferred colleges for geography in the world ?

Nah, K J… I want to do my bachelors in geo

Two words: CollegeBoard matchmaker

Hey tetrisfan, I’m not serious about the US. What about other countries?

You don’t want to imply that there are a lot of colleges with unfriendly professors, do you?

How about the following trade-off: distinguished faculty vs personal attention?

personal attention would be great :)

For personal attention I would recommend the US. Pretty much everywhere else in the world would you have to share your professors with 200+ other students. Have you checked if Oxbridge offer a course in geography?
