<p>GPA: 3.464 unweighted
SAT: 1820 (M+CR = 1220) <- i will increase to at least 1300 by the time i apply
All gifted classes (except honors physics and foreign language) and 7 AP courses</p>

<p>extra-curricular: German club and art club (2 yrs each), eagle scout</p>

<p>chances to get into UGA?
should i do early admission or regular decision..</p>

SAT Critical Reading: 560 / 660
SAT Math: 570 / 660
SAT Writing: 560 / 660</p>

<p>M+CR - minimum would be 1130 and 1320. So 1220 would be in that range. 600 writing is also within the 25-75 percentile range. The GPA does not look very impressive. If you’re instate, you should be fine for UGA. Out of state will be harder.
UGA has Early Action, which is nonbinding to my knowledge. If you apply early then you will have a better shot at it. Definitely apply early if you are certain that UGA is your top choice.</p>

<p>Yeah, I’m in state.
And yeah my GPA is kind of eh cause of earlier grades… but if I waited for regular decision I could get 6 more core A’s (3 of which are AP too so 4.5)… so I could apply in regular decision with a 3.6… idk if that is worth it or not</p>

<p>You could be flat out rejected, it’s not really possible to tell. The average high school GPA was a 3.8, so you would be at the bottom end. If your essays/recs/ec’s are great, then you may be accepted early for your interest in their school. If you are deferred, then you can send in a mid year supplement. </p>

<p>But given this, it may be more worthwhile to wait and raise your grades.</p>

<p>I think your ECs (Eagle Scout especially) are going to save you in regular decision. I’d say it’s a low reach or high match for you at this point.</p>

<p>Eh I just don’t wanna apply early and not get in if I could during regular…</p>
