<p>are my chances of georgia totally shot after a crappy freshman year? i ended up with a 2.4 gpa after freshman year, but right now, im making all a's and continuing to improve! </p>

<p>i am involved with clubs such as key club, science club, medical club, fccla, and future teachers of america! i also swim and run track! i also volunteer at the local library and hospital!</p>

<p>Perhaps, I’d say you’re not doomed. I mean, I got a 3.0 GPA, and that’s with two years of terrible grades, and unweighted, when I took all honors and an 2 AP classes. And, not to sound prejudice, but…southern schools usually aren’t as good at New England schools, so their GPAs might be higher. And College Board states that about 1/2 are in the top 10th, but the other half is just in the top 1/4th, which shouldn’t be too hard to obtain. You’ll have to see come SAT time, of course. But their SATs shouldn’t be too difficult to score.</p>
<p>not good… in colleges like uga and ga tech, if you have a C, you are pretty much screwed.</p>
