Uga charter scholarship

<p>With a 4.54, a 31 ACT, rank 1 in senior class, varsity soccer for 5 years plus being captain for the last two, National Honors Society, Tutoring, and summer jobs, do you think I am qualified to earn a charter scholarship? i was just accepted into the honors college so now I am curious to hear back from scholarships. </p>

  • Outstanding achievement in academics and reflecting other criteria contained in the Philosophy Statement of Admissions. All admitted UGA applicants whose admission files are complete by December 15 will automatically be considered.
  • Annual renewable $1,000 stipend for in-state students (in addition to the HOPE scholarship) or annual $1,000 renewable stipend for out-of-state students (in addition to a Regents Waiver of out-of-state tuition)

  • Waives either one-half or all of the difference between in-state and out-of state tuition

<p>It doesn’t look like EC’s are taken into consideration. It looks like you have to be one of the top 75-100 students to get the bigger amounts. Does it look like that to you?</p>

<p>Did you apply anywhere that will give you assured merit scholarships for your stats?</p>

<p>yes, i have 2/3 tuition waved at university of alabama. im just hoping I’ll be able to get one of these scholarships. Most all of my family has gone to uga and I am hoping to do the same, it is just so expensive. </p>

<p>I know I did not get the FF/Ramsey scholarships, I was notificed mid feb. I’m holding out for something smaller.</p>
