I am a girl out of state in New Jersey. My high school is very competitive. I will graduate with 8 AP classes. I have a 4.13 weighted and 3.8 unweighted. My uga gpa is a 4.05. My act composite is a 31. I work at least 23 hours per week and play piano. I also teach classes to young children at my church every week during the school year. Does anyone have any tips? Anyone else is applying ea?
My son got in with very similar grades and test scores from Texas. They do look at the rigor of your school, so it will help if it is a school that has had several kids go to UGA before, so that they are familiar with it. I think you have a very good chance at EA. The only thing you can do it take test again and try to get even better, but probably not necessary.
New Jersey friend, they look at only English and Math for the ACT, so your composite isn’t important to them. Looks like your chances are good, though!
Thanks! My english is 34 math is 28.
You should be great!
