Yes, the deferred applications will all hear by 3/19 if not before. I believe most will hear on 3/19 though. The Feb date he says is usually mostly RD applicants who met the EA stats for admissions
HAHA last Friday was CHAOTIC for UNC on CC and all for nothingâŠ
UNC is fueled by drama. Like to create it whenever they can. Youngest son waiting for decision from Carolina as I type. They use some sort of special admissions sauce in Chapel Hill.
What were the EA stats for admission?
Google UGA admissions blog and you can find all of the posts about admissions.
Look at the UGA Admissions blog. Very informative! Also donât skip the q and a at the bottom. He answers questions almost immediately so lots of info there. 2021 EA Decisions and Data - UGA Undergraduate Admissions
Thanks!
Should I send a LOCI if I was deferred?
From previous blogs UGA does not take into consideration demonstrated interest as they feel if you applied youâre interested. So no, no need to send a LOCI. Fingers crossed for you!
Thank you!
You had the option of adding on to your your application with any updated scores or supplemental material. Itâs past the deadline now though if you didnât already do that.
Anyone have an idea of what time they are releasing the next wave
of the admission decisions today?
I donât know, but the EA decisions in November were released exactly at 4 PM.
What decisions are coming out today? Isnât it In March?
RD applicants with stats like the ones from EA
What does that mean? Will people who were deferred in November hear back?
I think itâs just a small group of students who are getting in based on gpa and sat score, not essays or ECs
No change in my portal yet. If somebody gets in please post so I can stop looking lol.
My son was admitted today. He was deferred EA with a 1580 SAT and 4.1 UGA GPA, 12 APs. I was mystified that he was deferred as his stats were well within the range of admitted EA students. He didnât get an email yet, we just checked the portal.
