UGA Freshman Dorms?! Non-party ones?

Hi, I got admitted to UGA and now have to deal with choosing my top three dorm halls. Can anyone tell me from experience which dorm are not the party ones? I'm fine with coed dorms, but not co-ed bathrooms! And also, what dorms would you recommend to a Freshman? The dorms shouldn't be too expensive, somewhere from $2,500 to $3,500 is acceptable for me.
Please help!

Hello  I guess you are a girl so I suggest you consider Soule Hall although it is reserved for non-freshmen girls. It is really quiet, especially the quiet study room. Also in Soule you will have semi-private bathroom. Other choices, Church, Mell are also good since they are girls’ dorm and also the buildings are small. Reed is good for its location convenience. ECV has apartment style and is co-ed, but it may be a little bit far from the classrooms but is fine if you like walking, and of course u can take bus. If u do not like party scene, I would suggest u to choose a matched roomie. U can find a roommate through UGA housing website. The biggest three halls, Brumby, Russell, and Creswell are what u perhaps would like to avoid since there are many people and the bathrooms are not in private style. There would be visitors until late midnight in weekends. However if u enter the Learning Community in Creswell u must live in Creswell. The program is awesome but i think u also need to be self-disciplined to avoid being affected by others. Just a suggestion, the study room in science library, and the green places that u can actually find everywhere outside the building are quiet for reading or thinking. Hope you can live well and study well in the first year!! :)

Hill community is great! It’s all freshman so it’s still social although not as alcohol-infused as the high rises. You get a fairly large room with a sink in it, temperature control, and a great location between 2 dining halls. It’s a great middle ground. Message me if you have any questions. Go dawgs!
