I'm currently a junior in high school but i've been planning for college a lot this year and going more in depth about what I want, where I want to go, etc. My dream school is UGA. The location is perfect, the scenery is perfect, big school and big on football, and most importantly - its down south! Georgia is my dream state to live in. So you can see what I want in a college right? But from what I've been told, UGA is extremely hard to get into for out-of-state students. I currently have a 3.8 GPA, doing DECA, National Honor Society & Spanish honor society with my school. I am determined to get all A's in my classes this year to boost my GPA as well. But although majority of my classes are Honors, I haven't taken any AP classes yet which is stressing me out. For senior year I might take one or two AP but thats it. I also plan on taking SAT Prep courses with Kaplan in February and take the SATs in May when the courses end so I have a high score (hopefully). If UGA does sound good for me, please let me know and tell me what I can do to improve my chances of not only getting in, but getting scholarships. If UGA doesn't sound good for me, please let me know other schools that sound good for me. Schools down south, big on football, also good sororities for me to live in as well. Thanks!

UGA is hard for in state student to get into.

Alabama, Auburn, USC, Tennessee are all great school and your would get into them all. UGA will be a reach but you should still try if that’s you dream school.

You should’ve taken more AP classes. With UGA, the more rigorous the coursework…the better.
