UGA Honors and EA

Hi, I have been a little worried about getting into UGA honors and EA because of my SAT score.

I have a 4.375 weighted GPA
3.8-3.9 unweighted GPA

I have taken 9 APs so far and I am taking 5 my senior year

Very active in clubs and such, and I am attending Governors Honors Program

My SAT is only an 1880 with superscore.... 620 math 650 reading 610 writing...

Should I wait for regular application so I can take the October SAT or should I just send in my application early?

Which universities are you targeting?

UGA Honors…

Oh sorry didn’t see my bad

I see your GPA is over the 50th percentile
You should apply EA if its your best choice however its my entirely my opinion that if you could take SAT in October and raise your CR and M scores by around 100 points each you should be safe then …an average CR+M score for UGA honors program is around 1470 ([Welcome to the University of Georgia Honors Program](First Year Experience - UGA Morehead Honors College)).

Its your choice …all the best :)

So is it possible to send in an early application, get accepted and then take the SATs again in october or november and then use my newest score to apply for honors?

I don’t know much but if the Honors program requires different requirement from the main university body then you can apply EA to normal undergraduate program retake SAT in Oct and if get accepted use your better scores to apply to the honors program although I am not 100% sure

You should check that with the university sorry cant help
