I have heard that the top 2% of UGA applicants are automatically accepted into the Honors College and that this is based off raw GPA and SAT/ACT scores. Does anyone know about what this score range is?

My GPA (out of 100) is around a 96 and I made a 2380 on the SAT. Would these scores likely range in the 2% of those for UGA applicants?

I’ve never seen the stats published and of course, it will vary from year to year depending on the overall profile of the early admissions pool. However, I would say your scores give you a good change of being auto-admitted. If you are not auto-admitted, you would definitely have a chance during the regular review process. However, that is when things become more subjective and it is no longer just about test scores, but more about your overall profile and whether or not you put together a really good honor’s college application.
