UGA Honors Program

Who that applied for the Honors Program at UGA got in? I know about 6 people who applied with relatively good stats that got rejected! I got waitlisted and they guaranteed me transfer into honors through collegiate entry after 1st semester as long as I meet the minimum GPA. But i was shocked that NO ONE got in. My prediction is that they accepted too many people automatically after early action. If you got in or got waitlisted or got rejected can you post your stats...i'm just curious

Mine are:
780 (math), 610 (CR), 690 (writing)
96.1 weighted gpa

I got in EA

SAT: 680M, 680 CR, 730 W
ACT: 32
GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.5 W (but I think my W was around 4.4 when I applied)

You got wait listed w/ a 1390??? WOW!!! Did you just have 0 EC's and leadership, or what?? That is very surprising!

I got in EA with a 2180 SAT (800-math, 700-CR, 680-W), 34 ACT, 4.4 GPA, SAT II=Math2=800, Physics=780, Hist=700.

hmm okay...well thanks! i wonder if anyone that actually applied for the honors program got in though cuz everyone got rejected.

i actually have ok ECs i think so its weird...yearbook editor, track, cross country, hospital volunteer, NHS, etc.

There was an application process to get in EA, as well (essays, teacher recs, etc).

I did it through the foundation fellowship application, though.

there was an application for EA-that's what i did. but many people got in to honors through EA in December/January simply through only their SAT/ACT scores and GPA. those were the auto-admitted students, and then there were also students that filled out an application and were notified last weekend

I didn’t get accepted to Honors either.

SAT-M (690) CR (700) W (700)
SAT II- Math (680), Literature (780), History (730)
Salutatorian
4.0+ GPA
=/

Way to bump an almost two year old thread… -_- Look at the date of the last post before you post.
