UGA Honors v. U of Miami v. Georgia Tech

So I just got accepted into UGA's Honors program yesterday, and I am shocked. I honestly thought I had no shot because my stats were okay. Now, I have no idea what to do. I got accepted to UofM's business school with a $15,000 presidential scholarship and accepted to the Materials Science Engineering program at Georgia Tech. I would be a mathematics major at UGA. Obviously, from my different majors, I have no idea what to actually major in. I don't think my family will have any huge financial issues if I attend UofM because we are well off. However, they are encouraging me to pick one of the state schools because I do have the HOPE scholarship. Thus, I turn it over to CC. Which is better University of Miami, UGA Honors, or University of Miami?

Bump 10char

University of Georgia even with honors is not comparable to those two. Remove it.

I would pick Georgia Tech. You are already in their engineering program. If you don’t like it, just switch to Business. Its Business school is also well-known. University of Miami is for sciences.

Firstly, UGA honors is comparable to UMiami and Georgia Tech. Secondly, I’d go with Georgia Tech if you’re interested in quantitative fields. There are only a few non biological based STEM subjects that UGA is better in, and it doesn’t sound like you’re interested in any of them.

As XtremePower said, GTech’s business school is also very strong, and its Atlanta location offers plenty of internship opportunities.

I’d go with Georgia Tech if I were in your situation, but remember, you need to work EXTREMELY hard to keep HOPE at GTech.

What fields at UGA are better than GT?

For the sciences, geology and agricultural fields (excluding hydrology).

Sports, school spirit etc.

Which sciences specifically?

Like I said, the only non biological sciences which for which UGA is clearly superior to Georgia Tech are geology and agricultural fields.

If you want to do environmental science, UGA is far superior to Georgia Tech. But it doesn’t sound like you have the slightest interest in the field, so I wouldn’t worry. If you do want to pursue a quantitative environmental science program, Georgia Tech offers an adequate number of courses.

Alright cool. Thank you so much! And I probably will go with GT because that was the one that I’ve been leaning on for a while
