UGA Honors vs. Tulane vs. Northeastern

Hello everyone! I'm having trouble deciding among three of the schools to which I was admitted. All three offer my desired major choices. Here are my options:

University of Georgia: I was admitted to the Honors Program, and since I'm in-state and would qualify for the HOPE Scholarship, this is the best option financially. Before this year I was opposed to attending UGA because of its proximity to home, but after visiting I actually liked it a lot.

Tulane: I've never visited campus, but I have been to New Orleans and I love it there. I also got the $22K Founders Scholarship so that will relieve a little bit of the cost.

Northeastern: Never visited campus, never even been to Boston, but when I applied I thought the Co-op program sounded cool and unique. I received a $16K annual scholarship but only if I pursue an engineering major, and I'm worried I might get to college and decide I don't like engineering and then lose my scholarship.

Any input would be appreciated! At this point the college process has felt so long that I'm just ready to choose a school and be done with it!

P.S. I also got in to Bucknell, but since I didn't receive any aid I'm not considering it as much as the others. However if anyone has any good things to say about Bucknell I'd love to hear it!

Thanks in advance!

bumpp, anyone?

Bumppppppp

UGA’s engineering program seems relatively underdeveloped, especially when compared with NEU and Tulane. However, UGA is quite strong in a number of different fields, and the honors program is one of the better ones. Can you afford Tulane and NEU without excessive debt? If so, choose between Tulane and UGA. You don’t want to have to transfer because you decide you don’t like engineering (doesn’t sound like you’re very passionate about the subject) and can no longer afford the school.
