Ok, so like a lot of people, I messed up early on my undergrad year at UGA. I'm a junior now with 2.5 GPA, probably will go up a little after this semester, but I assume I will graduate with it around 2.8. I started out as a Finance major and with sociology as a minor, but recently added sociology as a second major. I'm almost done with my sociology major, only have 12 more hours, but have about 24 more hour to do for my Finance major. I also decided that I no longer want to go to B-school, and just go to Law School, I really do think I would be a much better lawyer. I'm considering applying to UGA law school, even though I know its pretty hard to get into, but its worth a shot, and my other option is Georgia State Law School. I'm an AA but not sure if that will help me out that much when applying to UGA depending on my LSAT score. I really haven't begun studying for the LSAT but took a practice test to see how it was and scored a decent 157. I'm pretty sure if I devote more time at learning the test I can get into the mid 160's

So, my first question is do you think keeping the finance major would be a good idea. would it make a difference when apply to law school? (If I do go to law school, i want to get a JD/MBA)

And my second question is, what do you think are my chances for getting into either school.

I have extra-cir, and job experience already (had an Insurance internship my entire junior year, was offered a full time postition for the summer and part-time position until I finish school)
