UGA RD Mid-year report-- how much does it affect decisions??

Hello all. RD applicant here.

See, I have been a pretty consistent student, but my first semester grades have slipped a bit.
I got a C in my AP Physics class, but luckily my school adds in an 8 point curve so my grade ended up at an 83.
Then I got a B+ in my government class (non AP)
The rest are solid A’s (except my AP Calc grade… I ended up at a 93 with the curve)

But overall, I’ve been a mostly A student, with a few Bs (mainly from AP courses without weight added).

I read that UGA doesn’t recalculate your GPA with senior grades, but they use the information for holistic review. However, I feel as though this will do more harm than good for me. How heavily do they look at senior grades exactly? I can’t tell if my grades will hurt or not, especially since they’ll really just see the weight. But then again, I’ve never gotten a natural C in high school before.

Thank you for taking time to read this. Have a happy new year.
