I am currently a student at georgia Southern. I have 43 transferable hours and a overall gpa of 3.60. Do I have a pretty good chance of getting into UGA?

There requirements to get in are 30-59 transferable hours and a gpa of 3.2 or above.

Are there any people on here that have transferred to UGA? What was your gpa that got you in or didn't get you in?

I am also a student at Georgia southern. I have 32 hours of transferable credit and a 4.0 GPA. I would also like to hear from someone who has transferred. @ATLFIT have you learned anything else useful about the transfer process? The application just came out today.

When I applied to transfer I had 30 credit hours and a 3.3 GPA and I got in.
The only advice that I can give for the whole process is to try not to stress out so much. Also, remember that Admissions must get through all of the 1st year apps before looking at fall transfer apps. I believe that they review them on a first come first serve basis too, so try to apply asap and send your transcript. Good luck!

I submitted my application and my transcript was received February 21 (4 days after the application came out). Can’t wait to get a decision, and hopefully I’ll be among the first! @sugarplum08 where did you transfer from and are you happy with UGA? Do you think I should get in with a 4.0?
