<p>Well im a junior and i just heard from kids who applied to uga from my school ALOT got rejected. Kids with 3.7's and 3.6's got rejected as well. SO now im here worried my grades suck i have a 3.2 gpa and probably can bring it up to a 3.3? im in international club and spanish club and i can probably get a 1800 on the SAT. And (i hope this helps) im pakistani! but i wasnt born there, so what are my chances at uga?! I was also talking to my consuelour and since i got like top 5 in all my computer classes ive taken all year he said i could put that on my application somewhere and i might have a better chance at tech. All i know is my parents think i have a 4.0 with great grades and ill get castrated if i dont get into UGA or Tech and have to go to state. HELP ME PLEASE!</p>

<p>yea im instate thats the only reason im applying i have to go to something in state and the only two viable options that arent too expensive are uga and tech so are my chances bad</p>
<p>ok i didnt want to start a new post but now i calculated what my gpa COULD be if i get all a's next semester i realized i can get about a 3.4 or a 3.5 and im in like all ap's AND im a minority im gonna go for UGA even though i may not make it in ill get about a 2200 on the SAT im aiming for a 2300 so should i do early decision even though my GPA will be lower and possibly my SAT or should i wait take the SAT twice and raise my GPA maybe a .1 or .2?????</p>

<p>ok ok wow i just did alot of number crunching and realized what am idiot i am for not have worked hard my first two years as i have 8 89's!!!!! i busted out a transcript and crunched and crunched and realized that if i try REALLY somehow miraculously try i can get AT VERY best </p>
<p>3.41 South asian with i guess a years worth of ap classes overall and some clubs as ec's and 2200 SAT does that put me in the running?! for tech OR uga</p>
