UGBA 101A vs ECON 100A

Anyone know which one would be easier? I know UGBA 101A is only 3 units, but I don't know if the insane Haas curves are applied to it.

Nice handle!

UGBA 101A is easier.

All business classes are easier even with the curve.

Econ 100a is KILLER, especially with Rausser.

hahah You're in it?

The second midterm was HORRIBLe. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE.

(I'm in Econ 100 A with Rausser right now...and I hate it. )hehe

That class seriously is the worst. It's making my first semester here HELL.

Upper div in the first semester? Why'd you do that?

One of the many lessons Berkeley will teach you (not necessarily exclusive): Pick your professors wisely.

Which is very easily done with www.ratemyprofessors.com

Sure, and true with any school. Also, try to avoid upper divs in your first year, in general?

Ratemyrpessor.com is alright, but I want Berkeley to start a Berkeley only professor rating site, or release some student ratines online for students. Something. UCLA has one for UCLA students, and I'm surprised Berkeley doesn't have one like this yet. I sent this in as a suggestion on my student survey.

Yeah UCLA's professor ratings site is really amazing.

wrathle: The first midterm was good, but the second one shat on my grade. Now I have to pull an A/A- on the final to get an A/A- in the course.

If you're shooting for Haas, avoid ECON 100A if you can. If you're not prepared it'll mess with your GPA. Treat all 100 series courses as weeder courses.

Hm I guess I'll take something else either than 100A to complete my series requirement.. like 101A ;)
