Ugh help me figure out my life.

Alright. I'm trying to transfer into USC. PROBLEM: I need 3 letters of recommendation. (I already have them all). BIGGER PROBLEM: how the hell do i send them?

I get it! in the mail somehow BUT one of my recommendations is from a teacher I am no longer physically in contact with.

I know! the common app has online submission! PROBLEM: not for transfer students! The online school forms section won't allow me to invite teachers.

I know i need to fill out some weird goddamn form and I'm freaking out.

Where is this form? Why am I here? Where do I send it? To whose attention?

I KNOW. CALL THEM. but those counselors made me feel dumb and said, "Just mail it." But really there's more to it because I can't make it seem like I've tampered with the letters. SO how the hell do I send a letter with this special form when I'm not in contact with that teacher physically.

I'm stupid, make fun of me, but damnit help me.

Find the form. Print it out. Mail it to the teacher in a large envelope along with a stamped envelope addressed to USC admissions. Ask your teacher to seal the completed recommendation in that envelope, and then sign across the seal of the envelope so that it is clear it hasn’t been tampered with before putting it into the mail.

If you like, you can also include a postcard addressed to yourself that says, “dropped it in the mail today,” for your teacher to send to you.

thank you for your help!

bump bump bump

You’re bumping someone else’s thread which already has a solution?? Why?
