UGH I messed up my chances at Georgetown, didn't I???!

I just want to hit myself right now!!!

Ok so today was Georgetown's deadline to submit the Part II online form, and I went on to submit mine right at 11:55 pm before the deadline. However, I kept getting an error message and the form wouldn't submit, so I started panicking and freaking out and I emailed the admissions office immediately, apologizing and saying that I am aware it is past the deadline but my account was giving me technical issues.
However, after about 15 mins, I tried again and the application went right through, which was really odd. It was about 12:20 am, and I received an automatic email from Georgetown saying that they received my application.

God, I wish I could unsend emails on Hotmail. I just fired it because I was really scared and nervous because I thought I missed the deadline....
Did I just give a really bad impression on the admission officers?

What do you think they will reply?

I mean the application is sent and received already..

OPINIONS?

P.s. I know Im stupid and a procrastinator, no need to repeat it, thanks.

Won’t do any good worrying about it. What’s done is done and there’s nothing you can do about it now. Don’t repeat this mistake and Good Luck with your applications.

Oh, I kept getting errors while I tried to submit my supplements. As a result, I sent two of them late. Or well, technically, they were submitted by 12 in my timezone, but not the school’s. Nothing we can do about it, except stop being such stupid procrastinators, like you mentioned. Still, since it’s only a few minutes, I doubt they’ll reject you because of it.

No one will care about the email.
The fact that you missed the deadline might be the problem though, but they will NOT reject you because of this.
Also, hotmail? Switch to gmail like the rest of adults.

You’re fine. The time is a soft deadline. As long as it got there before they show up for work in the morning, it will be accepted as timely. The email will not be read by anyone who actually makes admissions decisions. You should note that the likely reason your form wouldn’t submit is because you are not the only one who procastinated. If it is like prior years, Georgetown’s server got overloaded with applicants trying to send the Part II form at the same time.

Agree with Drsuba. Don’t sweat it. That’s why they say not to wait to the last minute, but they will forgive you. Call and confirm if you want to, but the email saying its there should calm you m

It’s fine.

No it’s not - you might as well begin buying cats now as you will end up the crazy old person with 100 feline companions. Haha, sorry I had to.

You should be fine. Call and explain your predicament. Don’t worry and relax. What’s done is done.
