<p>Hey, I know I'm only a sophomore but I was wondering how badly a "C" would look on my transcripts to colleges like Wake Forest, Emory, Vanderbilt, University of Chicago, NYU, University of Miami, and University of Michigan (this is my first "C" by the way, freshman year by GPA was 3.8 un-weighted with two "B's" in Physical Science Honors and Algebra 2 Honors)...the other aspects of my applications are great as of now: I'm in my school's honor program (we're the only students who can take an AP as a sophomore), I'm the Sophomore Class Secretary for Executive Council, I'm the school representative for Youth Action Council, and I have a few awards in each of these. I'm just worried about that one "C" I have in AP European History for the semester...also, how many AP's would you recommend I take as a junior if I am to apply to the above colleges...also I'm African American if that helps :)
