I have decided one must keep a sense of humor through this process.

A thin white envelope arrived today for my son. You know what that means...

I was nearly in tears, but also trying to put on my happy face and preparing to give my best "God must have a different plan for you" speech.

Alas, IT WAS A LETTER STATING THAT HE IS SCHOLASTICALLY QUALIFIED!

Breathing a sigh of relief and praying that another TWE doesn't arrive!

Kat

Whew! I know exactly what you feel, Kat. Went through it last year when my son received a late LOA at the end of February. I will never forget when my hair stylist asked me last March if I had been stressed lately… I guess I grew a few gray hairs during the waiting process Hopefully you’ll get good news soon.

We were spared all this emotional agony last year because we didn’t even know about the “Thin White Envelopes.” We just thought that if you were not going to get an appointment you simply wouldn’t get appointed.

See - it’s true - ignorance really is bliss.
