Okay so I'm going to Smith College and I sent my deposit and everything..but senior grades are keep me up at night.. Out of four academic classes all APs I have two C's and two B's..I have orchestra which is an A..obviously and this one PE teacher who is such an ass i think I'll get a B...Will I get rescinded? I am defiintely going to try to get one of my C's up..But in my transcript i Have had some C's through my high school grades. Please help..
Also called smith..they dont have a minimum gpa requirement though but significant drop in grades will probably get me rescinded..

Did you say you’ve gotten Cs in the past throughout high school? If so, then I highly doubt they would rescind your admission if you get a couple more Cs, because they must already be okay with it. A C is a passing grade, so it seems unlikely that anything bad will happen (a D or F is another story). But then again, I really know nothing about this, it just seems unlikely. Talk to your guidance counselor.

My guess is that you are OK but don’t drop farther down. Maybe have your college counsellor call?

I highly doubt you will be recind. Especially if you still have a respected GPA.

In general, it’s Ds and Fs you have to worry about, especially if you already have a few Cs floating around your transcript.

The only time I could imagine Cs being an issue was if a straight A student fell to straight Cs.
