Ughhh I hate when they change professors so late in the game

lil bro just had his (ST - 260) Stats prof changed from a guy who got the best reviews on ratemyprof to a lady who is a grad student with no ratings.

Oh well, the class is required for all business school students before they can take upper level classes. So he’s just gonna have to stick with it and hope for the best.

I hope he didn’t take the class during a less desirable time in order to get the more desirable professor. A change in that circumstance would be especially annoying.

Last summer, S2 was very happy to have a certain prof assigned to OChem II. At the last minute, Bama changed the schedule and assigned a newly hired Chem professor who had just finished his post-doc at UTexas (he was from Italy). His name is Dr. Marco Bonizzoni. Anyway, he was a very pleasant surprise.
[Prof. Marco Bonizzoni](http://www.bama.ua.edu/~chem/people/faculty/bonizzoni/bonizzoni.html)

Anyway…the new prof was awesome, awesome, awesome. So, NJ, it may all be for the best.

The time of the class was perfect 11:00 - 12:15 T/R so he didn’t screw himself there. He did drop his GY - 102 class for it though just so he could take ST - 260 with that professor. The good lab times are full in the GY - 102 section now so switching back won’t work unless an opening occurs.

Plus he still has to take Macro (EC - 111) next semester and I thought he’d be better breaking those up (EC - 111 & ST - 260) instead of taking them both the same semester.

Your point is valid Mom. Sometimes these things are a blessing in disguise. And just because a prof doesn’t have any ratings yet doesn’t mean they won’t be great.
