I've studied like literally ALL day and a lot yesterday for my midterm. I've re-done problems, found samples online, reread parts in the book, but then for some reason everytime I go back and look, i freak out!!!

I feel like i still don't know the material well even though i've reviewed it so many times. I guess it's because I put a lot of pressure on myself this time, and have to get a 89 percent to get an A for the semester. but this is killing me! i don't know where to stop!!!

how do you guys cope?? I have calc coming up soon too...and the same type of thing happens there ughh

i didnt do any part of the 10 page review we got. did not open anything to review. I basically just went in geussed on half the MC/scribbled stuff on the FRQ. The amazing curve because everyone in my class is a failure got me an 86 haha.

Also, for physics, if you completely blank out, you can use dimensional analysis. Lol in freshman physics I slept for half the year, but ended up with an A+ even if I didn’t necessarily get the material (lol…hm…we have W, and we’re trying to solve for seconds…so I should find the number of Joules!)

Thanks math+sci…although given your screename you’re probably a natural at this stuff lol. this is still first semester, so my grades do count. oh well. whatever happens, happens, i guess. lol

I had my physics midterm today, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it’d be.

I spend more time trying to grasp the concepts than I do working on problems. Once I know everything I can know about it, I do a few problems and leave it at that.

I freak before every physics test. I study for hours. I fail every physics test. Well, every once in a while, I get a D, and celebrate, but yeah. Failure = me.

lol yeah i guess that’s all i can do now =/ i’m kicking myself for not working harder first quarter! oh well, im a senior and I already got into college, but my other deferral seems to depend on this term so thats pretty scaryyy lol

I’m like that in Chemistry…it’s pretty much a self-fulfilling prophecy, honestly. More confidence in your knowledge of the material => better grade.
