Ugliest Campus

haha drexel, i have to walk through it all the time its the ugliest campus i’ve ever seen, hands down

Drexel
Harvey Mudd (HIDEOUS!) after I saw the campus I didn’t want to go there any more. Especially because Scripps, right across the street is like some sort of paradise.

Hmmm…they’re both engineering schools.

This entire post is utterly pointless.
what is UGLY? ugly people are easy to spot. but a campus? in terms of what?

some people might like warm beaches, palm trees, and blondes driving BMW convertibles.
some people might like snow, drinking hot cocoa on a 10 degree day, and a old/small town setting.
(although i suspect 95% of the people here prefer the former)

anyways, my vote goes to SUNY stonybrook. its ugly.

Just to strengthen my point ^

LOLwat???

Lol. Anyone have an opinion on Tulane’s campus? I’m going there most likely and I haven’t been able to visit yet.

My words exactly. Glad to see I wasn’t the only confused one.

I don’t think that Drexel is ugly at all. Not every building is gorgeous, but it has a few gems. The architecture is more modern on it’s newer buildings, but the Main Building is older in style. It has a nice mix. It’s a city campus, so I don’t care that there aren’t any rolling hills and gardens… Drexel is all about true life experiences, between it’s co-ops and it’s quarter system. Welcome to real life, not everything is beautiful.

I quasi agree with Stony Brook. I wouldn’t really call it ugly, but it sure as heck isn’t nearly as attractive as all the pictures make it seem!

I was just at Northwestern last week and I completely LOATHED the campus. I’m sure it’s amazing in the summer or early fall but it was gray, raining, windy, cloudy and freezing (and I’m from the northeast!). The architecture was random with a lot of ugly buildings and there were large streets running right though campus. Horrible.

rofl - I wouldn’t say that I loathed NU’s campus, but I definitely agree with you to some extent. It was definitely a little bit of a let down.

“Harvey Mudd (HIDEOUS!) after I saw the campus I didn’t want to go there any more. Especially because Scripps, right across the street is like some sort of paradise.”

Shows how serious about science/engineering/math you are!

I don’t think Umass-dartmouth is nicer than Umass-Amherst.

in my view, umass-dartmouth has the uglist campus in umass system.

I found Skidmore to be pretty ugly when I visited. The all-brick modern buildings really didn’t do anything for me.

Texas A&M’s campus…maybe not ugly…definitely isn’t as pretty as you’d expect.

University of Redlands still wins it.

I’ll be going to Texas A&M this upcoming fall, and when I visited their campus, ugh! Ugly.
Will be transferring to UT-Austin after a year, which has a decent campus.

And lol @ Harvey Mudd’s campus. Makes A&M’s look quite decent. xD

NC State. (10 char)
