<p>Does anyone find the campus to be ugly? just wondering for people's opinion....</p>
<p>Personally I find it very beautiful and much better than a total city atmosphere like ny or some place like that.</p>
<p>I find parts very beautiful and others just OK. Nothing ugly. I think the Union, Lakefront, and Bascom Hill are very nice. I like the entire main drive out to the Medical Center. There are a few newer buildings I don't like mixed in among the nicer old ones.</p>
<p>Beauty is in the eyes of beholder, but if Madison campus is ugly, then what campus is not?</p>
<p>I think the east side of campus is pretty nice (even with the crapload of construction going on). The west side seems... umm... dirty-industrial to me. The grass isnt kept up very well, and the graffetied railroad cars contribute to the industrial feel. </p>
<p>But overall not bad.</p>
