<p>well…as im talking to more and more people at upenn im starting to worry about my housing preferences…i picked 3 quad dorm singles as my first three choices and then high rises to round out teh rest…</p>
<p>ive learned that singles are very hard to comeby for a freshman as are high rises…so did i just ultimately bump myself down very far?</p>
<p>anyone know if singles are really that hard to come by in the quad for freshman?</p>
<p>uhhh i've heard the opposite regarding singles. if it makes you feel any better, your choices sound identical to mine... if we're screwed, misery loves company, no?</p>
<p>Even if you chose singles for all 3 of the Quad houses, that's only 3 out of 10 choices. So you have a lot of fallback.</p>

<p>Prepare yourself to be screwed out of housing, just in case. I, along with many friends, had Three Quad choices, then three High Rise choices, and didn't get any. I was mad. It happens.</p>
<p>But if you get it, you'll certainly be quite happy.</p>

<p>I ended up in the Kings Court dorm and loved it.</p>
<p>There is this one single room in Reipr, someone suicided in it long ago, and was resided by my friend last two semesters, who only go there for sleep after he found out about the story...pretty creepy, not sure the rumor is true or not</p>
