I recently got a 35 on my ACT but did not take the writing test. If I test again with the writing test and say, get a 33, would colleges even glance at my 35 if I sent it as well?

no. they won't glance at either score. they will take ur application and feed it to the dog. then they will type up a hate letter and e-mail it to u so that when u see it u will cry.

rickpaul80, I hope I'm not mistaken, but I think you can just take the writing test without having to take the whole thing again.

you do have to take the whole thing again, but every college ive been to has said that theyll take writing from one day and composite from another if they have to (they just take your best score for each part). writing doesnt affect your composite score, so even if you take it again and get a 30 they will still look at the 35 and whatever score you get on the writing section the day you got the 30.
