uh-oh,i need help fast...

ok...so im supposed to be taking june's test....but im not ready!...im abt to postpone it to october.....will that look bad on my college transcript???....can it be done easily???

do poorly now, then do well in october and schools will say " oh she/he must have worked hard" and it will look good.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
it will hurt you, badly.

don’t do it unless you are sure you are going to make a 700+

.. don’t listen to anhtimmy.
700+ in each section (im assuming is what he means) is not ‘that easy’.
what’s your average now? if its ~1800, then i say go for it and retake in october after studying over the summer.
however, if it’s REALLY bad, like ~1400, then just postpone it until October. If you postpone it, colleges will not know that you have postponed it. They just see the final scores, so to answer your question, no it won’t look bad.
You can change your test day on collegeboard.com, although it will cost you and you won’t get a refund. but personally, i think that money sacrifice is worth it if you really feel unprepared.

*the ‘well-ness’ of the scores that i posted (1800,1400) all depend on what college you want to go to. you didn’t say, so just make your own judgement about what score would be considered ‘good’ by your prosepctive college(s)

thanks ppl…ok…i called my local “center”…im international by the way…he told me to keep my june admission ticket nd just not go to the test in june..he told me to use the same admission ticket for october…however,he cnt guarentee me a place so im on standby:(…TOOO RISKY???

and yea…i took it twice before nd my superscore was 1620…im rly aiming for 1750-1950 this time

crap, i thought this was the subject test subforum
my bad >.<

College adcoms don’t care what you got on previous tests. It costs to change date. Might as well take it, if just for the experience of taking a timed test under real conditions.

ok…thanks every1…i talked to my councellor…im postponing it to october…hopefully,i’ll be able to do much better this way…thanks every1!
