Yea.. so my internet was down the evening of December 15 and I was unable to submit my app until 3 PM on the 16th. It turns out that my internet provider was having a problem in the area. I e-mailed stanford admissions and explained the extenuating circumstances, but have gotten no reply thus far. Do you guys think they'll take my app? (I've gotten the automatic e-mail that says it has been received online)

The entire campus, including the admissions office, is closed for the holidays until January 3, so that's why you haven't gotten any reply. Logistically it makes no difference to them whether you had it in by December 15 or January 3, but they may still refuse to take it on principle.

I have no idea.

My encounters with Stanford admissions haven't been especially great. The info session I went to seemed pretty obnoxious/pretentious, and they take weeks to months(!) to respond to their email. When I visited, though, the people I met at admissions were extremely nice to me, with the exception of the info session lady.

I'd certainly recommend you call as soon as the office re-opens to explain the situation. For now, since the office is closed, they can't really be reviewing apps. Don't expect them to read your email, since they're probably receiving/going to receive thousands over the next couple months...
