uh oh

i think it all depends if your application is balanced and consistent. if you get amazingly high SAT scores, but your GPA isn't comparable, they might think you don't try as hard in school... regardless of how smart you are.

when it comes down to it, i bet GPA and essays are the greatest factors. it's a prestigious ACADEMIC institution and those are the components that are most telling your your academic abilities.

but i have straight a's, 4.0 unweighted, 2/800. but with a 2180. kinda low for that gpa? should have listened to momma and poppa and studied hard for those darn SATs

lol I'm just the opposite. Shouldn't have subsituted sparknotes for actual reading.

^^ 2300? lucky. what high school do you go to

My school doesn't rank, because we're all quality, apparently. Plus there would be a helluva lot of ties, since we don't weight them either.

Huh, do they take writing heavily now?
2290 for me, but 1560 without writing piece...

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing
1540/2220

1580/2300

anybody know if and how much they consider the reading and math sections over the writing (hopefully)?

Yo Writing SUCKS!

1600/2350

Guh, I hope they don't weight GPA and Class Rank too much though...top 7% (2% away!)

yea i probably should have studied more for SATs
i did about the same as you, effrum

haha Lucas, I'm praying they weight GPA and class rank tremendously since that's all I have really going for me :-(

I really don't know what to pray for
I'm making the SAT cut with 1510/2310
and ranked 8 of 331 with a 4.0 gpa uw

My teacher said my essays were very good, I'm pretty active in school..
I don't know..I'm just very very nervous
