<p>My teacher just completed the commonapp rec today. Unfortunately I think she did not submit properly because I checked my profile and it showed. However the big thing is that I did it after I got home and that's the start of a two week holiday extending to Jan 5th. I know she won't check her e-mail over the break, and the deadline is Jan 1st. I have everything ready except that, what should I do?</p>

<p>Submit all your other stuff before the deadline and relax till your teacher comes back. In the meantime, contact the college and explain the situation if it makes you feel better; they'll probably appreciate hearing from you. Most importantly, don't let this destroy your holidays and your break... for most colleges, the deadline on what /you/ submit is a hard deadline, but it's ok if the school forms come in a bit later.</p>
