uh-oh....

um..so i just realized on my application i put i took SAT Math II...not Math IIC....crap...

....what should i do? should i email my adcom? (but i already emailed her once before..forgetting to send my ACT scores cuz i didn't know we had to send both ACT and SAT ..but that's a whole other story) ...UGH...

..it shouldn't be that big of a deal, right? because i took it in june 09..and they only administer Math IIC now right? and it should show up correctly on my official sat result that i sent to the school right?

What did your adcom say when you e-mailed her the rest of your ACT scores?

she was chill about it.

but wait…what should i do??

I don’t think it’s a big deal

What? I thought they only administer Math II?

no, you probably took math 2c also. (i believe a couple of years ago they switched to math 2c…it’s apparently a higher math)

…anyway, i emailed the general admissions email, and they said that they will use the official collegeboard score report when evaluating the application

Nope. My admission ticket says Math II.

It wouldn’t even matter, they’d know which one you’re talking about. It’s not like they offer both and you give them the date of your test when you send your scores.

what’s the difference between math II and math IIC ?

they administered math IIC starting like a couple years ago i want to say? (don’t quote me, i’m not for sure) and it contains higher concepts of math? i think…

Math II = Math IIC, just a name change

qwt, dezzo is right chill

theres no difference at all. but qwt i can understand ur anxiety over this situation. Math II and Math 2c are the same EXACT thing. i think a couple of years back they were different because math 2C needed a calculator (c for calculator) while math 2 did not. however, now all math 2 tests are using calc so its the same. 2C is not harder!

haha thanks…i wasn’t really that worried in the first place…i was just like…oh…oops…hahaha. but yea…
