Is any one out there still waiting to here back from this school?
Especially any transfers. Sounds like the csu are upping their standards so the wait sucks even more...

no worries,
I’m waiting to hear back too. I’m in state too LOL, but I’m not a transfer
my stats real fast:
-SAT: 2050
-gpa: 3.6

Great, that just means they can take even longer with the transfer students lol I’m in state as well. They should send an email so i dont have to keep checking

Yes, I’m an in-state transfer as well and I haven’t heard anything from them other than the initial, “We got your application!” e-mail, then the e-mails stating they needed my transcripts and my program application was being processed. I had to apply to my program separately and they said it could take up to the end of May to hear something. The automated system still says that my application has been deferred to the department of my major. I’m much too impatient for this, haha. It’s so frustrating! If I get in, how am I supposed to find a place to live, a job, and get moved with only a few months to plan?!

I’m an engineering transfer from a CCC. I talked to CSULB admissions today and they said that not all decisions will be made in March. They told me to expect a decision in 1-3 weeks. But seeing that they originally said I would get a decision in March, who knows when it will come through. I’ll post again as soon as I get a decision, if any other transfers could do the same that would be great!

They are releasing admits for some transfers at this time. My son received his to the FEA program by mail last monday.

I have read that depending on when you sent your initial transcripts, it can take two weeks to review them, and then possibly another two weeks to change the status of your application…so that is a month after they received your initial transcripts…
we will see. if this is true, i should know by thurs.

Well, still no word from CSULB, but I just got accepted to UCLA, so who cares!!! Goodbye Long Beach!!!
